"Sleep Dancer" is visual and sound artist Seb Patane’s debut album on MFZ Records under the moniker of Fog School.

The writing process starts in 2011, with Fog School properly coming to life as an identity in 2015. Throughout these 8 years Patane has compiled an archive of recordings and samples while getting accustomed to working with Ableton Live, putting all the pieces together through a sincere appreciation of electronic and experimental music.

The results span 10 tracks, which take conceptual inspiration from ideas of dancing seen in decontextualized settings. Insomnia, involuntary night time body twitches, hypochondria, underwater readings, drunken experiments with voice and sound, twisting and stretching their recordings and the noise of sea waves, all become contributing elements and sources utilised to produce an album which nevertheless freely varies in atmosphere, intensity, style and scope.
